The Mandan Rodeo Days Celebration, held annually on during the Independence Day holiday at Dacotah Centennial Park in Mandan, N.D., celebrates its 143nd year in 2022. The rodeo, which was named PRCA Badlands Circuit Rodeo of the Year in 2016, is July 2-4. This community-wide celebration began 10 years before North Dakota statehood. The rodeo is the largest regular-season PRCA rodeo in North Dakota, attracting top cowboys and cowgirls. The rodeo features a Miss Rodeo Mandan queen and princess pageant along with entertainment from top rodeo clowns and a gigantic fireworks display after the final rodeo performance.
