We welcome you to a public information open house hosted by the North Dakota Department of Transportation and the City of Mandan regarding construction on Memorial Highway. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Midway Lanes, 3327 Memorial Highway, Mandan.
Phase 1 construction of the east storm sewer system, from approximately 32nd Ave. SE to 46th Ave. SE, will continue into 2026. Phase 2, focusing on the west storm sewer system from approximately E. Main St. to 32nd Ave. SE, will begin in 2026 and run through 2027.
The project will improve the Memorial Highway corridor with a new concrete roadway surface, a new storm sewer system and updated bicycle and pedestrian facilities. It will also involve upgrading underground sanitary sewer and water lines and burying some above-ground utility lines.
Project team members from the City of Mandan, North Dakota Department of Transportation, and prime contractors will be present to answer your questions and listen to your concerns about the project.
