First Day Hike

Ring in the New Year at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Parks with the “First Day Hike 2024”. This annual tradition is a great way to start off the new year.
Participants are encouraged to arrive early before the official hike kick-off commences. The trail length will be approximately 2.5 miles from start to finish over beautiful rolling hills and some forested areas. In the event of adverse weather, the trail route will be shortened.
COME EARLY! Hot chocolate and coffee will be served inside the Visitor Center next to a roaring, warm fire beginning at 12 pm. Hikers are to dress appropriately for the weather. Trails may be muddy and/or snow covered; tall hiking boots are recommended.
As always with all of our hikes be sure to bring out the whole family for the first monthly hike for 2024 at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. It’s always great fun in North Dakota State Parks. #ndlegendary
