On August 17, from 1-4 pm, musicians of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in a communal jam session in Mandan, ND. Hosted by the Musician’s Association and Mandan Progress Organization, this event is a celebration of music, community, and collaboration!

Schedule:

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Setup/warm up
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Main Performance
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Ice cream social (treats offered by Latidot!!!) and an additional performance by Mandan Jam House Band

We’ll be sharing sheet music and videos of how the songs will be performed on the Musician’s Association Facebook page, so players can practice ahead of time. During the jam, our house band will be playing the songs through a PA so community musicians will have a reference to play along to.

Note: All non-electric instruments are welcome. Bring your acoustic instruments and voices to join in this unique musical experience.

The first 50 musicians who arrive for the day will receive a free t-shirt featuring the Mandan Jam logo! Awards will also be presented to whoever travels farthest and whoever brings the most unique instrument!
